The Sweetest Swing in Baseball by Rebecca Gilman
September 23- October 1, 2011
Dana Fielding is striking out at life! After a failed caeer as an artist, heartbreak in love, and finally botching her own suicide, she finds herself in the outfield of sanity at a psychiatric treatment center. She soon feels peace and stability in this new environment, until she learns that her insurance only covers 10 days of treatment. Taking the advice of a fellow patient, Dana concocts a personality disorder in hopes of extending her stay. She chooses the persona of Darryl Strawberry baseball (and rehab) legend.
