The Photographic Art Exhibition by Susannah Peddie will be displayed from May 25 to July 28, 2011

Local artist Susannah Peddie specializes in nature photography. The Florida Flowers Exhibit captures her unique ability to capture the spirit of native Florida flowers. Peddies work has been on display at the Harn Museum of Art, Embers Restaurant, the, and more! Peddie is an exciting up-and-coming artist and the Matheson is honored to have her work on display.

The flower exhibit highlights the Matheson Museum's botanical gardens in Sweetwater Park. The botanical garden has over 1,500 native Florida plants with 110 species - a real must see! Each plant is labeled with its common and scientific name. The park is a joint venture between the city and the Matheson Museum.
