BCC presented BAT BOY the Musical

 

Ripped from the headlines of The Weekly World News, ‘Bat Boy: the Musical’ is a heartrending love story that’s a real scream!  This tragic twist on the modern day musical comedy was presented in the Fine Arts Theatre located on Broward Community College’s Central Campus in Davie.  A cult hit Off-Broadway even before it transferred to London's Shaftesbury Theatre, 'Bat Boy' tells the tale of a half boy/half bat discovered in a cave near Hope Falls, West Virginia, and follows the lad's struggle to find his sharply-fanged place in the world.  Sam Marlowe from The Times says the play is “darkly funny – curiously touching”.
