The Broward Community College Theatre Program located on the A. Hugh Adams Central Campus offers a wide variety of college courses in both Theatre Performance and Technical Theatre. For performance majors we suggest a course of study that includes Acting I & II, Introduction to Voice, Voice & Articulation II, Movement for the Actor, Stagecraft, Theatre Appreciation, Makeup for Stage & TV, Survey of Dramatic Literature, Performance Labs, as well as Directing for those interested students. For technical theatre majors we suggest a course of study that includes Stagecraft, Introduction to Theatre Design, Tech Labs, Theatre Appreciation, Makeup for Stage & TV, Survey of Dramatic Literature, Drawing I, 3-D Design, Scene Design, and Intro. to Stage Lighting. We also offer two 3 credit co-requisite courses during term 3 in the summer: Children's Theatre Performance and Children's Theatre Technical.
