Frank Smith
Musician
Frank
Smith is a professional guitarist, recording artist with over 30 years
of experience, and he also performs music weekdays at Naples Community
Hospital. Frank makes his home in Naples, Florida where he plays out
regularly in venues all around Southwest Florida and on occasion throughout
the US. His CDs are sold worldwide and his original compositions have
been featured both on radio and on TV sound tracks.
It was the love of acoustic guitar along with the music of Will Ackerman
that inspired Frank to begin a music career and later create his three
CDs. When he began exploring alternate tunings on the guitar along with
using altered capos, he found the sound he had been looking for. With
the added expertise of producer, Will Ackerman, engineer Corin Nelsen
and many other talented musical artists, his newest recording, "Gardens
of Hope", became a reality.
Frank has received accolades in numerous publications for his work
performing music in hospital settings as well as for his other professional
performances. Franks plays his guitar daily at the hospital for outpatient
infusion services where people come in for chemotherapy or infusion
of antibiotics. He also plays several times a week in the rehab services
gyms.
Frank is considered a visionary because his multidimensional music
weaves an emotional thread through each song he writes, lifting your
spirit and making you smile. He constantly develops increasing enthusiasm
for his performances which emphasizes his talent as an artist on the
rise. His style of music is inspirational and will lead you on an inner
journey of calmness from which you will never be the same.
